Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Construction Safety Coordinator to join their client's team. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of all construction activities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment and will work closely with various teams to implement safety standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures for construction sites.
• Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Providing training and guidance to construction teams on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Investigating incidents and accidents to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborating with project managers to incorporate safety measures into project plans.
• Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Promoting a culture of safety awareness among all employees and contractors.
• Ensuring that all safety equipment is available, in good condition, and used correctly.

Qualifications

• 1 - 5 years of experience working within the commercial construation industry
• Strong understanding of commercial construction safety regulations and standards.
• Experience with safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and mentor staff on safety practices.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Pay

Salary of $90,000 - 110,000 per year.
